Develop a calendar of meetings and events that will help President Strom C. Thacker forge important relationships, both internally and externally, early in his term, including:● The President’s formal inauguration● A schedule of associated campus welcome receptions● A priorities list for additional engagement opportunities B. Provide the President with information regarding Pitzer’s mission, issues and priorities within each College constituency – faculty, staff, students, alumni, families, trustees, and the local community – and enable each constituent group to share input in these areas through their committee representative. C. Support the positioning of Strom C. Thacker as a thought leader in higher education to broadly elevate the trailblazing work of Pitzer College and advance its core values as a social justice and inclusive liberal arts institution, including:● Social Responsibility● Intercultural Understanding● Interdisciplinary Learning● Student Engagement● Environmental Sustainability Highlights of Strom C.
